Process

Annie's Doodles strives to produce top tier doodles. Several times a year my husband, Boone, and I sit down at our big farmhouse table to talk through our upcoming mama and papa pairings. We love this time, because we get to dig into our doodles' histories, remembering where they have come from and casting vision for the future. Many of our doodles  have been in our program for several generations, which enables us to offer such consistent personality traits, coats and confirmation. During this careful process, we mark out the litters from which we will likely keep puppies for ourselves or to trade with colleagues, but know that a puppy from any litter could catch our eye. For this purpose, we retain the prerogative to keep the number one spot on every list - this is called breeder's choice; and ensures that we continue to offer the highest quality doodles possible. 

Testing

We follow a strict ethics of breeding that adheres to upholding certain standards of health within our doodles. Before entering into our breeding program all doodles must pass a regimen testing. For our dog's scores please refer to their bio pages on Our Labradoodles and Goldendoodles page.​ If a prospective mama or papa dog does not pass the standard, they are spayed/neutered and placed in a wonderful forever home, but are never bred.
