Bringing a puppy into your home is a big decision, and we believe it should begin with a thoughtful conversation. Our adoption application is simply the first step in getting to know your family, your lifestyle, and what you’re hoping for in a Goldendoodle or Australian Labradoodle.
There’s no commitment at this stage—just a chance for us to connect and see if Annie’s Doodles is the right fit for you.
What Is the Puppy Application?
The puppy application helps us learn a bit more about you so we can thoughtfully guide you toward the right puppy.
Through the application, we learn about:

Your family and home environment

Your experience with dogs

Your lifestyle and activity level

What you’re looking for in a puppy, including timing and preferences (temperament, colors, etc)
We review every application personally. This isn’t about approval or judgment—it’s about understanding fit and setting everyone up for success.
What Happens After You Apply?
1. We Review Your Application
Once your application is submitted, we’ll take time to read through it carefully.
2. We Connect Personally
We’ll reach out to connect—often by phone. We believe hearing each other’s voices matters and helps build trust early on. We’ll:
• Talk through litters
• Answer your questions
• Discuss timing and fit
3. We Move Forward Together
If we both feel it’s a good match, we’ll talk through next steps. At that point, a $500 deposit is placed to reserve a puppy on a specific litter list. The deposit goes toward your total and allows us to hold a puppy just for your family.
A Note on Deposits
No deposit is required to submit an application. Deposits are only placed after we’ve connected and mutually agreed it’s the right next step. We see the deposit as a shared commitment—it allows us to reserve a puppy for your family and plan responsibly for each litter.
